District Brand Book
During the winter break of 2022, Terrell ISD had a brand refresh, introducing a secondary color palette to elevate the visual appeal of district materials. However, the traditional red and white remained the primary colors, preserving their prominence and strong connection to the district's identity. As part of this initiative, we launched a redesigned, user-friendly website under the theme New Year, New Look, aligning perfectly with the fresh start of the new year. To ensure consistency across all platforms, I developed a comprehensive brand book to guide stakeholders in effectively implementing the updated brand elements.

Future-Ready Superintendents Leadership Network
In December 2024, Terrell ISD proudly hosted the Future-Ready Superintendents Leadership Network (FRSLN) conference, bringing nearly 200 school leaders from across Texas to our district. This two-day event provided a platform to showcase the innovative programs, dedicated educators, and strong community partnerships that make Terrell ISD a standout district. The conference theme, Partnerships Taking Flight, symbolized the collaborative efforts driving educational excellence in our schools and beyond. From keynote sessions to breakout discussions, participants had the opportunity to engage with our team, learn about our initiatives, and exchange ideas that inspire future-ready education. Hosting this prestigious event was an incredible honor and a testament to the work happening in our district and community.
Tiger Tonight Live
During the Terrell ISD 2024 Convocation, the district had the pleasure of welcoming back our incredible staff with an exciting edition of Tiger Tonight Live! There is no doubt that schools cannot do it alone, which is why the 2024 theme was #TogetherForTerrell. On the "show," special guests, including community members, leaders, school volunteers, school board members, teachers of the year, and our students, came together to welcome staff back for an amazing school year, united and strong!
Of course, no talk show is complete without a few laughs—our hilarious "commercials" kept the energy high!
Board Appreciation
With the help of a few talented young actors (Terrell ISD student volunteers), we were able to film a humorous reenactment of a TISD Board Meeting as a gift to our school board members in celebration of School Board Appreciation Month. The Texas School Public Relations Association awarded this video with a Best of Category Award for a Video Documentary in February 2023.

Black History Month
During Black History Month of 2021, Terrell ISD celebrated the people of Black History with a month-long series highlighting African American educators, inventors, world leaders, entertainers, and more!
During the year 2022, the District continued the series; this time featuring the prominent Black men of Terrell for whom many campuses and buildings are named. The Black History in Terrell series focused on the life and legacy of each leader.
Fine Arts Recruitment
Each year, the Terrell ISD Fine Arts Department invites 5th-8th grade students in the district to a Fine Arts Night at the high school as an opportunity to learn more about each program available to them in the upcoming years. This video is used as a recruiting tool for TISD Fine Arts.
