Not a Rebrand, But a Refresh
During the winter break of 2022, Terrell ISD had a brand refresh, introducing a secondary color palette to elevate the visual appeal of district materials. However, the traditional red and white remained the primary colors, preserving their prominence and strong connection to the district's identity. As part of this initiative, we launched a redesigned, user-friendly website under the theme New Year, New Look, aligning perfectly with the fresh start of the new year. To ensure consistency across all platforms, I developed a comprehensive brand book to guide stakeholders in effectively implementing the updated brand elements.

The Tiger Classroom Shop
Branding is more than just a logo or color palette—it’s the culture, experience, and emotion tied to an organization. That includes physical spaces. In fall 2023, the Communications Department took on the challenge of transforming an old storage room into a supply shop where teachers can restock their classrooms throughout the year. To ensure equitable access, each teacher receives 10 Tiger Tokens per semester to "shop" for supplies. The store opens four times a year, creating an exciting and resourceful experience that supports educators.

The Go!Center
During the summer of 2025, Terrell High School, the Maintenance Department, and the Communications team worked together to transform a small library that was previously used as a study hall or a space for displaced students. The result is the Go!Center, a dedicated area where seniors can apply for college and scholarships, connect with college recruiters, and take meaningful steps toward higher education.
It was an honor to influence the interior design of this space for students, especially designing a new upholstery pattern that the district can now use for future furniture design.
